No. All lumber sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for any reason. There are no exceptions to this policy.Once lumber leaves our yard, it is considered sold. We cannot verify the handling, storage, condition, or identity of lumber after it leaves our property and therefore cannot accept it back into our inventory.Lumber is a natural product and variations in colour, grain, knots, sap, moisture, staining, and appearance may occur.Please inspect your lumber and verify the product and quantities before leaving our yard. Can I pick through the lumber to choose the boards I want? No. Customers are not allowed to open, sort through, or rearrange lumber. It disorganizes the bundles, hampers proper piling, and damages both the remaining and removed boards. It's also unfair to other customers and poses safety risks. Why don't you allow customer sorting? For safety reasons and to protect our inventory, customer sorting is not allowed. Once a pile has been pulled apart, it cannot be properly re-piled and creates unstable piles, damaged lumber, and additional handling for our staff. We understand that everyone wants the “best” boards, but allowing sorting leaves the remaining inventory disorganized and unfairly picked over for other customers. All lumber is priced accordingly and sold as it sits in the pile. Can I return unused lumber? No. All lumber sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on unused, leftover, or excess material. Please verify quantities before completing your purchase. Once lumber leaves our yard, it is considered sold. Can I bring a log in that I cut so you can saw it for me? No. We do not offer custom sawing services for customer-supplied logs. Our sawmill is dedicated to processing logs harvested and produced by Breen’s Lumber. Due to production schedules, equipment requirements, and the risk of metal or foreign objects being embedded in customer logs, we are unable to process outside material. Can you dress my lumber for me? No. We do not offer custom planing or dressing services for customer-supplied lumber. Our planer is used exclusively for lumber produced by Breen’s Lumber and is kept busy processing our own inventory. Can I cut my boards on site?
